Ban on Crackers is a temporary solution, not permanent

Ban on Crackers is a temporary solution, not permanent

So yeah, now that things are taking a turn let’s discuss something important, something different, something which needs to be discussed and as of today something which should be the topmost priorities of ours.

I start today’s discussion with a few simple questions: When was the last time you did something for our environment? When was the last time you covered that one mile distance by feet just to protect our environment? Or to protect the forthcoming generation from breathing in the unfortunate air in New Delhi or your own city?

I guess you can’t remember that. Well, don’t worry because you aren’t the only one out there.

With just a few days left for the biggest festival of India, the ban on firecrackers by Supreme Court (highest judicial forum of India) things are actually heating up in New Delhi or rather I’d say in the whole nation. There are millions of supporters of this ban and equally criticizers. However, I want to point out a few things which contributed the most to this ban, where we went wrong and what, in reality, needs to be done.

  • Firstly, as the common tradition goes let’s dip our hands in the pool of our Governments. This is for sure that if the government would’ve taken certain measures then this wouldn’t have happened. Although, the Government of Delhi came out with the Odd-Even formula but Delhiites refused to accept it and it just went neglected. The opposition, in search of votes, condemned this formula and it ultimately led us to what it is today. I’m not putting the whole blame on the people because the formula was a bit off-strike. So, yes! We need to make rules in a way which are acceptable and give direct benefits to the people of Delhi.
  • Here comes the most important one, the ban took place because of the people of Delhi. If they would’ve done something to stop degrading our environment, this wouldn’t have happened. Yes! I’m blaming all of you. If the Delhiites would’ve gone with the Car Pool option or stopped using ACs even for a single day in a week (according to the preference of the people) then I guess things would’ve been better. Now, some of you might say that how can I connect the bursting of crackers with the ‘convenience’ of people? Because cars or even ACs are for the comfort of people whereas the crackers just degrade our environment, right? But, you know what, your children get a single festival in the whole year (Yes! This one is their favourite) and due to your so-called ‘convenience’ they can’t celebrate this day too. And yet you say you love them. Just wait a second. I know what your next question is: Is Diwali only about crackers? Oh yes! It is. For those children it’s only about crackers, they don’t know about the story of Rama returning back to Ayodha, and they don’t even want to. They have their whole life in front of them to listen to that story but right now it’s just about crackers because nothing gives them the same happiness as crackers do. So, next time you better think of the environment you’re living in and start limiting your ‘convenience’.
  • Now comes for the Supreme Court. I think the Supreme Court is forgetting that there are eco-friendly crackers too. Also, it would’ve been better if the decision would’ve come a few days before.
  • Whatever I’m going to say now have not contributed anything to this ban but it’s important. Dear readers, People don’t burn crackers every day but they do travel to their office. So now you know what should be held responsible and what needs to be changed. If you want your children to breathe in a fresh air, if you want to give them a better future and a better life then firstly give them a clean environment. And, this isn’t going to happen in a single day. Just because you’ve stopped bursting crackers on Diwali doesn’t mean that you’ve made a bigger change. If you want a bigger change, ask yourself. The ban on crackers is a temporary change. So, what’s the permanent one? Ask yourself what you’re doing on a consistent basis to our environment. Reflect on your life for a few moments and you’ll get to know the answer.

Humans do every single thing for their own benefit. Ain’t believe that? Prove me wrong.

What do you think? Let’s discuss it in the comments below.

Flying/falling

Flying/falling

Are you afraid of falling? Well, most of us are. But, here’s the thing: Don’t be afraid of falling, if you’ve got the guts, if you’ve got to do it, then just grab your ass and go for it. No matter what. Not for others, but for yourself because at the end of the day no one is going to end up his/her life in your coffin.

Yeah, your family love you, your friends love you but don’t you love yourself? Well, you do. You love yourself more than anything or anyone else in this world. And, it’s not selfishness, it’s just that you’re being yourself. And, in today’s world there are only a few people who love being themselves.

Feeling low? Here’s a link to a blog post which will lift you up.

An urge for you

FeaturedAn urge for you

I looked at her profile picture again,
Wishing that I could hold her when it rains
Two years have passed since I felt this way,
She came with sunshine and showed me the way
Deep down inside, I had an urge,
An urge to tell her
An urge to ask her to stay

But I feared,
Because maybe she’d consider me to be the same,
The same person who just ditch others for their sake

How would I tell her that I wasn’t anyone among them,
I cared for her, and I’d stand for her like no other man

Maybe she won’t even see this,
Maybe she won’t ever feel like this
But love is just like that,
You can’t force anyone and yes, that’s a fact
This poem is not ended, just like my words
I’ll just admire her today, just like the birds…

Don’t click here because this must be the most heartbreaking diary entry you’ve ever read in your life.

Without you

Without you

Coz baby, I’ve been doing a lot for you,

Baby, I’ve been living my life for you

Baby, I do care a lot for you,

But maybe life would’ve been better without you

Baby woooo………baby, baby wooo….. baby

There was a time when we were in love,

But the time has passed and you know it hurts

Maybe, I was the one who cared too much

And baby, you’ll never know how much it hurts

Baby woooo……..baby, baby wooo…….baby

I felt like someone drove a stake through my heart,

When baby you left, I had nothing but my past

Give back my love, which I gave to you,

I would have moved on if it wasn’t for you

And now it pains like never before,

But baby, I’m in love with the memories of yours

Coz Baby woooo………baby, baby wooo….. baby

Baby, I do care a lot for you,

But maybe life would’ve been better without you

If someone would like to consider the lyrics for their song, they are truly welcome. Just inform me about it here.

For our own benefit

For our own benefit

So, here’s the deal. Deal? I mean really? Yeap.

“Humans do every single thing for their own benefit.”

Isn’t it true? Well, go back to that day when you gave that poor person some money so that he don’t have to sleep hungry at night. Now you would ask, ‘Have I done this for my own benefit?’ Yes, you have. Do you remember what that old person gave you back? He gave you blessings. From your past experiences, you knew that if you would help him then his blessings will help you too. Now ask yourself the same question. Yes, you got it right. You did it to get the poor person’s blessings; you did it because it gave you inner satisfaction.

Here’s the next point. People may offend me now but it’s the reality.

A father wants his children to be successful or precisely, to earn a lot of dollars. Why does he want it? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Surely, he wants it because he wants you to be happy, and here’s the harsh reality, he wants it so that you may help him when he becomes old. Whose benefit?

Well, it’s natural. It’s not our fault. It’s just the reality which we find hard to accept. It’s true that we do every single thing for our own benefit or maybe not just we, I guess every single species is designed that way.

A girl loves a boy or a boy loves a girl so much that he is willing to do anything for her, some cases even leading to death. Well, it’s not madness, that’s the only way to get emotional pleasure. In a country like India where the society doesn’t let the two lovers unite, they have to go to heaven thinking that maybe in that world they will be allowed to live together. Here the emotional pleasure can be counted as a benefit.

So, here’s the deal. Deal? I mean really? Yeap. Every single thing is a deal, a deal with yourself, a deal with the whole world.

Feminism: a word to understand

Feminism: a word to understand

Feminism. We all have heard this word but only a few understand the real meaning of it. Feminism is to give equal rights to women. And, from equal rights it implies equality at every point of women’s life. From understanding their feelings to letting them do the things which they want in life. Here are the most important things about women which I noted from Chetan Bhagat latest novel ‘One Indian girl’. This book describes the word ‘Feminism’ well.

 1. At times girls want to be wanted even when they deny it.

romantic-boy-girl-holding-hands-1920x1080.jpg

They want someone around them every time even though they pretend that they don’t want you. But believe me, they want your attention.

2. She wants you to involve in her happiness.

Like, if your girl gets a promotion or anything else like that then you need to praise her. Always remember that if she doesn’t see a smile on your face due to her achievement then the achievement doesn’t value much to her.Always remember that if she doesn’t see a smile on your face due to her achievement then the achievement doesn’t value much to her.

3. While having sex, make her feel like you’re actually loving her.

Now this sounds a bit confusing. So, the thing I want to say is that whenever you’re cuddling up in bed then you have to make her feel better by saying words like ‘you are too beautiful’, instead of using words like ‘you are fucking amazing’.

4. Girls don’t need a choice they need a chance.

Imagine that you are forced to make a choice between your work which pays you well and a girl whom you love deeply. What would you feel then? But unfortunately, that’s what we do with the girls. We think that women can’t work in an office as well as look after her family. But wait for a second man. You’re living in the 21st century and here in developed countries women can do both of the things. So, why shouldn’t we let them do what they want to? Above all Psychology says, a women’s mind work better than men in handling the things. Hope you got what I want to say.

5. Girls always need a man to support and inspire her.

Remember that quote ‘There’s always a woman behind a man’s success’. This work for women too. A man who inspire and understand her well, that’s what a woman want from you.

6. Women hide her feelings to make others feel better.

Isn’t that what we see in our daily lives? Our mother or sister sacrifice many things for us. Why can’t we do the same for them? Because it comes under feminism too. Right?

7. Women just don’t want money. Above everything else, she wants those naughty children for whom she can do everything.

She isn’t as much interested in her job as she is interested in imagining her future with your little kids. Make her imagine the future in which your kids are present too. She doesn’t like her job as much as she loves you.

So, what do you think about Feminism? Do you support it? I think you should because above all Feminism is Humanism. It shows us how good we as a human being are. I would love to hear your views, share your views in the comments section.
